About us - Sheep in the Meadow - Lancaster, Kentucky

Our sheep are located in the heart of Kentucky's beautiful bluegrass country side.          Lancaster is

located in Garrard County, south west of Lexington, just a short 40 minute drive. Lancaster is located just off of Hwy. 52.

Our mission is to raise the best representatives of the Babydoll Southdown sheep so that the breed may grow. The goal is to develop a flock that will produce healthy lambs that you may obtain from us each year.Please call us, or come by to see our Baby doll Southdowns.

If we wrote about each of us, it would take a book as our lives have taken us many places, with many accomplishments which we are very proud of.    Kirby and Babette grew up in Indiana with farm backgrounds and knew they would return to the "country" someday and their dream is now reality.    
Jay resides in Arlington, Virginia but   has become a partner in our raising of these wonderful animals.
