Sheep in the Meadow
"The Flock"
   Lancaster, Kentucky
On December 25, 2008 , Francine gave birth to "Nicholas" weighing in at 10 1/2 pounds.
Nick is healthy, full of energy, quite the entertainer and is making sure he knows what is going on in his new world.

"Lily" was born on January 13, healthy and stays close to her mom,"Lucy".
"Rose" is shown here with her mom, Abigail. She weighed in at 6 pounds. She is one who loves to be snuggled and already is munching on hay.

She was born on January 3, 2009.
February 16, 2009 - Update
Nicholas, Rosie and Lily are full of energy, very healthy and are interested in what is going on.I compare them to 3 year olds.
They now romp daily outside and we laugh constantly at their antics. Jump, run, play , a snack from mom and it starts all over again. During feed time, they are eager to eat corn and their sheep pellets, munching on hay is a regular part of their diet.
We treat the mom's to fresh slices of apples and lettuce- only Nicholas has tried the lettuce. When we get down to their level, they will come up to you and love to have you talk to them, what charming little personalities they have.

March 9, 2009-
What a busy day on the farm as  boys , weighing in at 10 and 8 pounds arrived in an amazing fashion
and also the  arrival of "Bitsy" a 4 pound little girl.
A picture of them is on our main page.
The farm now has a total of
4 new boys and 4 new girls, all healthy and making the barn seem like a nursery and a pre-school. You can not imagine the joy these animals have brought to our lives. Their charm and personalities bring to our lives a new sense of calm and appreciation for the country way of life.
